Young defender Dominic Ball impressed on his Rangers debut last night in a 2-0 win over Ayr.
The centre-back was making his first appearance for the club since sealing his loan move from Tottenham Hotspur last week.
The 20-year-old, who can also play in midfield, was a steady influence at the back for Mark Warburton's side.
Fellow Spurs loanee Nathan Oduwa was also in action, but kept his showboating to a minimum, after being criticised for a rainbow flick pulled off against Alloa at the weekend
Talented winger Oduwa was making his first start, and due to his attacking nature is likely to create more headlines than Ball, but the defender could be just as important to Rangers chances of promotion.
The Gers now have five wins in a row, and will be keen to continue their strong start to the season.
Ball was on loan at English League Two side Cambridge during the second half of last season, after making his Tottenham debut off the bench in cup competition.
He is clearly a player Mauricio Pochettino rates, and is likely to be monitoring his progress. So far, so good.
Here is a look at how Rangers fans reacted to his display...
