How many shock transfer twists are there left for Manchester United?
Former Premier League stars turned media pundits have been giving their views on Pedro's shock move to Chelsea.
The BBC reported that Chelsea have struck a deal to sign the Spaniard, who has flown in for a medical.
He had been expected to join Manchester United, and now all eyes are on what the Red Devils will do next.
Former United trainee and ex-Stoke City star Danny Higginbotham said that the news was disappointing for United, and they need to act to buy an alternative.
Former Liverpool and Everton midfielder Don Hutchinson disagreed, arguing that United did not need a player like Pedro at all.
He sensibly stated the Red Devils need a centre-back and a centre-forward, but urged them to push to try and sign Gareth Bale from Real Madrid.
I said last week,Pedro is NOT what Man U need right now,it's a 5 and 9. Next year will be huge for Man U and CFC to try and get G Bale— Don Hutchison (@donhutch4) August 19, 2015
Another to offer a differing perspective was former West Ham and Manchester City winger Trevor Sinclair, who seemed to take delight in United missing out on the multiple time La Liga winner.
He said that this was potentially an all time low for the Red Devils, and realisation they are no longer a top draw for players.
