Remy Cabella's Newcastle United career appears to be over after just one season.
The attacking midfielder was loaned out to Marseille as part of the deal to sign Florian Thauvin.
Marseille have an option to buy as part of the deal, and realistically after his poor spell at Newcastle, he is unlikely to return.
Pal and now former teammate Ayoze Perez has reached out to Cabella via Twitter to wish him well at his new club.
The two were both signings in the summer of 2014, but Perez remains very much part of Newcastle's plans going forward.
The Spaniard is one of the most highly rated youngsters in his homeland, and the signings Newcastle have made this summer take the pressure off him to perform, and will hopefully allow him to play with more freedom.
He outperformed the more experienced Cabella last season, who netted just one goal and provided two assists, while Perez found the net seven times.
