Bafetimbi Gomis is full of praise for Swansea new-boy Andre Ayew, who he believes has been key to the club's fantastic start to the season.
Garry Monk's side currently sit sixth in the Premier League table after drawing 2-2 away at Chelsea on the opening weekend before defeating Newcastle 2-0 at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday.
Summer signing Andre Ayew, who has also scored twice already, emerged as the focal point of Gomis' positivity as the Frenchman lauded Swansea's attacking options.
"I know what a good player Ayew is, particularly in front of goal," Gomis told the club's official website. "He showed what a quality player he was in France and he's showing that quality here in Swansea."
"It's important for us to have good goal scorers like Andre."
Having joined the south Wales outfit earlier in the summer from France, Ayew has already proven quite a hit at the Liberty Stadium.
The former Marseille midfielder has converted a third of his chances thus far, while fashioning two key passes for Garry Monk's side.
Proving efficient in possession, he has also completed 84% of his passes and 50% of his attempted dribbles.
His early form has simply underlined underlining the size of the coup landed by Swansea in seeing off a string of European clubs to capture the Ghana World Cup star.
