Fulham have seen their £5million bid for Brighton & Hove Albion defender Lewis Dunk turned down.
As revealed by HITC Sport earlier this week Fulham upped their offer for Dunk to £5 million after seeing several previous bids rejected.
Fulham boss Kit Symons has made Dunk his top target as he looks to shore up his side's rearguard and remains determined to land him despite Brighton's latest rejection.
Brighton are reluctant to lose Dunk with the 23-year-old establishing himself as one of the best young defenders in the country.
However, Fulham are refusing to give up in their pursuit of Dunk and are expected to make an improved offer before the transfer window closes.
Dunk was an unused substitute for last weekend's game between the two clubs as in the wake of the interest from Fulham.
A host of Premier League and Championship clubs are thought to be interested in Dunk, but Fulham have been leading the chase for the centre-back this summer, but have constantly been rebuffed by Brighton in their attempts to bring the player to Craven Cottage.
