Leeds United manager Uwe Rosler explained at his press conference ahead of the Bristol City game, as covered by the club’s official Twitter account, that he’s still getting to know and learn about his players.
The dust has long since settled on Rosler becoming the club’s new manager, he’s assembled his squad for the season and he’s tasted what it’s like to front the club in competitive league action.
Leeds are still striving for a perfect performance under their new boss, but hopefully that will come this evening as the players further settle in, adjusting to the German’s methods.
“I'm still finding out about the players, I'm giving them chances and they're giving me everything back,” said Rosler.
Some encouraging signs
There have already been some very encouraging signs so far this season, with regards to Leeds and the way they have been playing.
Rosler seems as though he will have a very honest and hard working side this season, with continuity in the shape of the club’s younger players.
Hopefully, the players who have been signed already this summer can find their feet quickly, with Chris Wood a good example of a player already under pressure in terms of justifying his place in the side.
Leeds seem to be very difficult to beat at the moment and as the players further adjust to the manager, the attacking and creative side of the club’s game should further improve.
