Liverpool are pushing ahead with their attempts to sign Dani Ceballos, report Spanish newspaper Diario de Sevilla.
The Spain under-19 international plays for Real Betis, and has a release clause in his contract of £8 million.
Diario de Sevilla report Liverpool have made contact not only with Sevilla, but they have reached out to Ceballos himself.
It is claimed they have offered him an annual salary of £1.1 million - (half of what Florian Thauvin stands to earn at Newcastle) which includes bonuses, plus a house and a car.
Ceballos' contract expires next summer, meaning he is free to sign a pre-contract agreement from January, and the Reds are attempting to turn his head early.
Liverpool still may attempt to snap him up this summer by paying his release clause, and could be prompted into making such a decision considering there is competitive interest from Serie A side Roma.
Ceballos is an exciting talent, and would join Spanish youth internationals Sergi Canos and Pedro Chirivella at Anfield.
All would hope to have success breaking into and establishing themselves in the first team which both previous La Liga imports Dani Pacheco and Suso did not manage.
