Chelsea have so far had three bids turned down by the Toffees, with the latest offer being valued at £30 million.
Everton are unwilling to sanction the sale of a player key to Roberto Martinez’s plans, and central to the future of the team, but the Blues are ready to increase their offer for the 21-year-old centre-back.
There is no indication as to how high Chelsea value their interest in Stones, but another bid is expected, and the report claims that the West London club are ready to offer one of three players in a loan exchange deal.
Juan Cuadrado has been made available for loan, whilst Chelsea would also consider offering Bertrand Traore or Victor Moses to Everton. Cuadrado, however, is said to prefer a return to Italy over staying in England, if he is to leave Stamford Bridge.
Everton have no intentions of selling their player, but every star has a price, and if the Blues return with a larger bid - plus a player in exchange - the Merseyside outfit may change their stance on the sale of Stones.
