Newcastle United have confirmed the signing of Florian Thauvin.
The winger has completed his transfer from Marseille, in a deal which will see United flop Remy Cabella going the other way on loan.
Thauvin is a France under-21 international, who netted five times last season for the club, and provided four assists.
He follows the signings of Georgio Wijnaldum, Chancel Mbemba, and Aleksandr Mitrovic, and takes Newcastle's signings up to £50 million.
Expectations will grow on Steve McClaren's side, who have one point from their opening two games, but the addition of Thauvin is another step in the right direction.
Thauvin told Newcastle's website: "It is a big honour to know that Newcastle have been after me for such a long time and that they wanted me that much."
Remy Cabella scored only one goal last season, and provided just two assists after his move from Montpellier.
Thauvin will wear the number 20 shirt at Newcastle, and has signed a five-year contract.
Cabella has been pictured also upon the completion of his move back to Ligue 1.
