Hogan Ephraim predicts Charlie Austin’s future

Queens Park RangersCharlie Austin has been linked with Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United and Newcastle United.

Former Queens Park Rangers attacker Hogan Ephraim has predicted on social networking site Twitter that Charlie Austin could join Newcastle United this month.

Austin is on the books of QPR at the moment, but he has been linked with a move away from the Championship outfit this summer.

According to The Daily Star, Tottenham Hotspur are interested in the English forward, while The Daily Mail claims that West Ham United and Newcastle want the 26-year-old.

Ephraim believes that the Rangers star will either remain at Loftus Road or join Newcastle before the end of the summer transfer window.

During the 2014-15 season, Austin proved that he can be a success in the Premier League.

The QPR forward scored 18 goals and created 23 chances in 35 Premier League appearances.

The Englishman had a pass accuracy of 66% and a shot accuracy of 67%, and won 86 headers, 15 dribbles and 16 tackles.

The former Burnley star is coming into form this season as well, as he was on target for Rangers in their 2-2 draw with Cardiff City at Loftus Road on Saturday evening.

During the 68 minutes he was on the pitch, Austin took three shots, had a pass accuracy of 57% and made two blocks.
