Jordan Amavi has been highlighted as Aston Villa's best piece of summer business.
Manager Tim Sherwood has set about bringing in 10 new players this summer, including the likes of Idrissa Gueye, Jordan Veretout, Rudy Gestede, Jordan Ayew and newly-appointed captain Micah Richards.
However, while Agbonlahor has been impressed by all the new recruits who have arrived at Villa Park this summer, he singed out the former Nice defender as the man who has most impressed.
Speaking of the Frenchman, Agbonlahor said to the club website: "Jordan Amavi's name is on everyone's lips at the moment.
"He has been superb in training - and I think he did very well in the games against Bournemouth and Man United."
"For me he is one of the best players in the team already. He is a complete left-back. And he will only get better."
"Like the other lads, he's only been here for a few weeks - and it takes time to get fully up to speed with the Premier League."
"He's made a very impressive start - one that's really stood out to me - and I think he will only improve given time in this division."
Amavi has started on two occasions for Villa this season, taking part in the club's opening-day victory over Bournemouth, as well as its defeat to Manchester United in game-week two.
The 21-year-old has averaged nine defensive actions per match thus far - including a total ten interceptions and eight clearances - while he has seen success in 78% of his tackles and 64% of his attempted take ons.
