Ronny Deila says he has a good relationship with Jo Inge Berget

Celtic will face Malmo in the Champions League playoff round.

Celtic manager Ronny Deila has been quoted as saying by the club’s official Twitter page that he has a good relationship with Malmo attacking midfielder Jo Inge Berget.

Deila’s Celtic side will face Swedish outfit Malmo in the playoff round of the Champions League this month.

Berget, a 24-year-old Norway international, played for the Bhoys on loan from Cardiff City in 2014.

Deila has known his compatriot for many years and is looking forward to facing him in the Champions League playoff round.

First leg key

The first leg of the playoff tie will be held at Celtic’s home ground, Celtic Park, tomorrow. This match will be of huge importance.

The Bhoys simply cannot afford to concede a goal, or else they could be in serious danger of getting knocked out.

Deila’s side should try to win the first leg by a good margin – maybe 2-0 – to make it easier for themselves for the second leg in Sweden next week.
