Tottenham are looking to bring the Ghanaian midfielder to White Hart Lane.
Godfred Donsah has been on Spurs’ wishlist for a number of months, and the report claims that the North London club have entered back into the race to sign the Ghanaian midfielder.
Juventus and Fiorentina are both stated as holding an interest in him, as well as Chelsea, and the report states that he is expected to leave current club Cagliari before the transfer window closes - despite having a contract that does not expire until 2020.
Gianluca Di Marzio reported back in January that Spurs were looking at Donsah as a potential signing, but no move was made to secure his signature, and they now face increased competition should they wish to sign the promising star.
Who is Godfred Donsah?
Donsah is a 19-year-old central midfielder who currently plays for Cagliari, after spells with Palermo and Hellas Verona. Predominantly a box-to-box player, he can also feature in a deeper role as a holding player, and the youngster has been earning rave reviews for his performances in Serie A.
The calibre of club interested in Donsah is a suggestion of his talent, and Spurs would be signing a real star of the future if they formalise their interest and make a concrete approach for the midfielder.
