Report: Tottenham considering second Saido Berahino bid

Tottenham Hotspur reportedly remain interested West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino.

Tottenham Hotspur are considering making a second bid for West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino, according to The Mirror.

Earlier today, West Brom announced on their official website that they have rejected an initial offer for the English youngster.

The Mirror claims that Spurs’ offer was £18 million, while the Baggies value the 22-year-old at £25m.

It has now been reported by the British newspaper that North London outfit Tottenham are weighing up an improved bid for Berahino and remain hopeful of securing his services before the end of the summer transfer window.

Future prospects

Berahino is one of the most promising young English players and could go on to become a brilliant striker in the coming years.

The Englishman is an important player for West Brom and one of the first names on Tony Pulis’s teamsheet.

Although the 22-year-old has yet to score in the Premier League after two matches this season, during the 2014-15 campaign he was on target 14 times and created 28 chances in 38 league appearances.
