Cornerstone Real Estate Advisers has hired Joy Winterfield and Albert Yang as new CEO Scott Brown builds the operation after taking over this year.

Bloomberg News reports that Winterfield joins from insurer Allstate Corp. as managing director of global portfolio management and will be based in Chicago, according to a statement Monday from Cornerstone.

Yang will work in London as managing director head of business development for Europe and comes from the asset management operation of JPMorgan.

In the meantime, Reuters reports that UBS's Wealth Management Americas said on Monday it hired broker Douglas Clayburn away from rival securities brokerage Morgan Stanley.

Clayburn, who started working at UBS on Friday, managed $250m in client assets at Morgan Stanley in Walnut Creek, California.
