The Tottenham Hotspur stopper is not happy with their latest result.
Spurs went 2-0 ahead courtesy of goals from Eric Dier and Nacer Chadli but with 12 minutes remaining things took a turn for the worse when Marko Arnautovic scored from the penalty spot and Mame Biram Diouf equalised with just seven minutes left on the clock.
Lloris was back in goal for Spurs but he did not have a game to remember for the right reasons and later reflected on a job only half done.
“We were 2-0 up and it was a big mistake from us not to get the three points from there.”
That draw means Tottenham currently have just one point from their first two matches of the new season and their upcoming game against Leicester City has taken on added importance.
Tottenham certainly have the players to turn things around quickly but it is vital they get their first victory on the board sooner rather than later.
Lloris will be key in that endeavour, and you can be sure manager Mauricio Pochettino has been ironing out the mistakes in training this week.
