Hull City played out a 1-1 draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers away from home in the Championship on Sunday.
Hull City midfielder Tom Huddlestone has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his disappointment at his side’s failure to win against Wolverhampton Wanderers away from home on Sunday afternoon.
The Tigers headed into the Championship match at Molineux full of confidence, having won their opening two competitive games of the 2015-16 campaign.
Steve Bruce’s side were relegated from the Premier League at the end of last season, and they will be determined to finish in the top two of the Championship and gain automatic promotion this term.
Hull, though, failed to make it three wins in a row in all competitions on Sunday, as they had to settle for a share of the spoils with Wolves away from home.
The visitors took the lead midway through the first half through Nikica Jelavic's spot kick after Kortney Hause shoved Curtis Davies in the penalty area.
Wolves restored parity just before the hour mark when James Henry headed the ball into an empty net after Hull goalkeeper Allan McGregor had spilled Nouha Dicko's cross.
Following the 1- 1 draw with Kenny Jackett’s side, former Derby County and Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Huddlestone made the following post on Twitter:
Tough game against a good wolves team. We started off sloppy but gradually got better. Decent point in the end— Tom Huddlestone (@Huddz8) August 16, 2015
