Scott Allan speaks about how Celtic's fans have made him feel

The new Celtic player was quick to praise the Bhoys' supporters.

Celtic’s newest player Scott Allan has been speaking in a press conference with his comments later published on the club’s official Twitter account.

Allan moved from Hibernian earlier this month, signing a four-year deal while Bhoys youngster Liam Henderson headed in the opposite direction on loan as part of the deal.

Allan’s move was greeted with excitement by the Celtic supporters and he has since spoken about the response from his new fans.

“It was unbelievable,” the 23-year-old said. “It was a really good feeling and something I’ll not forget.”

The Celtic fans are famous for being among the most passionate in the world and Allan has now experienced that first hand.

The right winger becomes the latest in an increasingly long line of talented young players to join Ronny Deila’s side and it will be interesting to see what this season has in store for him.

After all, Allan was a regular for Hibs last season, ending the season with two goals and an impressive 17 assists in 40 appearances. But he will have to be patient for his chances to impress at his new club.

Whatever happens, the Celtic fans are clearly happy that he has arrived.
