Report: Nottingham Forest want Lukas Jutkiewicz or Scott Arfield in exchange for Henri Lansbury

Nottingham Forest are willing to sell Henri Lansbury to Burnley, but only with a player in exchange.

According to the Derby Telegraph, Nottingham Forest are willing to sell Henri Lansbury to Burnley, if they get one of two players in exchange.

Dougie Freedman is keen on bringing in Lukas Jutkiewicz from the Clarets to bolster his attacking ranks, although Scott Arfield has also been targeted should a deal for the striker not be possible.

Sean Dyche has been attempting to sign Lansbury for a number of weeks, and with just over two weeks before the transfer window closes, the Clarets boss will need to move quickly if he is to secure his prime target.

Forest will only sanction a deal if it is for a player in exchange, as they are reusing to accept a deal simply cash-based.

Dougie Freedman is restrained by FFP restrictions, and is attempting to build a squad with little backing, meaning that player exchange deals are sure to be high on his agenda.

Both Jutkiewicz and Arfield have played both of Burnley’s Championship games this season, but it is likely that a deal for the striker is more probable.

Arfield is a key figure in the Clarets midfield, and has featured in the full 90 minutes of both games. However, Jutkiewicz has been subbed off in both ties, and with the number of foreword’s that Burnley own, it is likely he will allowed to leave.
