Roberto Soldado has been unveiled in Spain after clinching his move to Villareal.
Tottenham Hotspur flop Roberto Soldado was greeted welcomely as he was unveiled by new club Villareal.
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino told the Enfield Independent that Soldado had been keen to leave the club all summer, and they had worked together to find the best solution.
He joins a club in Villareal who finished sixth in La Liga last season, and has been handed the number nine shirt.
More than 2,000 fans attended his presentation at Estadio El Madrigal, a display of the excitement his addition brings to the Spanish side as they prepare for the 2015/16 campaign.
In his last season in Spain with Valencia, Soldado scored a stunning 24 goals in 35 games, and despite his struggles at White Hart Lane, it would not be a surprise if he recaptured his best form, now back in his homeland.
