Newcastle fans got their first glimpse of new signing Ivan Toney in action, as he led the line for the under-21 side on Monday.
Toney wore the number nine shirt in the match against Blackburn Rovers, which ended as a 1-1 draw.
The forward put in a lively display, but it was substitute Jamie Sterry who scored the goal.
Nonetheless Toney was pleased to get his Newcastle career off to a start, and took to Twitter after the game, promising he will find the back of the net soon.

He was joined in the starting line-up by fellow new boy Karl Darlow in goal, who spent last season back on loan at Nottingham Forest.
It's early days to say whether Toney will be appearing in the Premier League any time soon, instead it looks like he will be working towards a potential appearance in the Capital One Cup at the end of the month, when Newcastle play his former club Northampton Town.
