Credit Suisse is changing the leadership of its U.S. equity research as Mark Flannery is being moved to another role and a deputy left the bank, a person briefed on the moves said.

Bloomberg News reports that replacements for Flannery, a managing director in New York, and James Kelly, the associate director of research who left last week, will be named soon, said the person, who asked not to be identified discussing personnel.

In the meantime, Bloomberg also reports that Morgan Stanley plans to hire Temasek Holdings Pte’s former China head as a vice chairman of Asia-Pacific investment banking, people familiar with the matter said.

Ding Wei, 55, will focus on helping the U.S. firm develop its banking business in China and will be based in Hong Kong, the people said, asking not to be identified because the matter is private.
