Liverpool v Bournemouth predicted lineups and match preview

Liverpool host Bournemouth in the Premier League tonight.

To be played on Monday 17th August 2015 at 20:00. Venue: Anfield, Liverpool

Odds: Liverpool 4/9, Draw 7/2, Bournemouth 7/1

Liverpool play their first game at Anfield this season tonight as they host newly-promoted Bournemouth.

The Reds opened their campaign with a 1-0 win away at Stoke City last weekend, with Philippe Coutinho thrashing home a superb winner from long range.

Brendan Rodgers got off to a great start, and now has an opportunity to make it two wins in a row as Bournemouth make the long trip up from the South Coast to Merseyside.

Rodgers isn't expected to make many changes to his side, though summer signing Roberto Firmino could come into the side in place of Adam Lallana.

Meanwhile, visitors Bournemouth opened their season with a 1-0 defeat at home to Aston Villa, and will be hoping to spring a huge shock at Anfield.

Eddie Howe knows his side will be up against it not just on Merseyside but throughout the season, and is also unlikely to make wholesale changes to the side for this match.

The pace of Max Gradel, Joshua King and Callum Wilson will be vital on the counter for Bournemouth, who can also call upon former Everton man Dan Gosling as he bids to defeat his former rivals.
