Surplus to requirements at Juventus, following their attacking reinforcements this summer, the future of Spanish striker Fernando Llorente has produced plenty of speculation.
According to Estadio Deportivo, the race for his signature is one that Sevilla will eventually win, but they must remain patient. Indeed, they believe a deal might not be struck with Juventus, until the final week of the transfer window.
Acknowledging that Llorente has been strongly linked with interest from Real Madrid boss, Rafa Benitez, although there are suggestions he wants another striker to bolster the Bernabeu ranks, the Basque player has apparently been ruled out of the equation.
In England there been reports that Liverpool and Arsenal are interested, whilst Metro even went as far as to claim Tottenham are in advanced talks, but it's looking increasingly unlikely Llorente will be strutting his stuff in the Premier League.
In Spain, the belief is that Llorente is most keen to put an end to his Italian adventure, by returning to his home country. Save for a large bid at the last minute, possibly from one of the English clubs, Sevilla remain confident they can get their man.
