The Argentine is reportedly up for sale this summer after the arrival of Angel Di Maria.
It is being heavily reported in France and Spain that Ezequiel Lavezzi is up for grabs at Paris Saint-Germain.
The Argentine talent, signed from Napoli in 2012, is seemingly surplus to requirements after the arrival of his international team-mate Angel Di Maria from Manchester United.
For all the money PSG have they still have to balance the books and Lavezzi is a player they could move on.
So should Tottenham Hotspur make a move?
The club have already signed one new forward this week. Clinton N’Jie arrived from Olympique Lyonnais. They are also believed to be after Saido Berahino of West Brom – both great young talents to run off of Harry Kane up top.
But adding some top experience to the attack department would certainly help matters at Tottenham Hotspur.
The issue might be his cost. He is likely to be a rather expensive acquisition, which is a sore subject for Tottenham fans at the moment.
They spent big on players in recent times in deals that have backfired and will not be keen on giving the fans any other expensive flops to lament.
But if Lavezzi is available at a cut-price fee the 30-year-old would be perfect for Spurs.
