Predicted Manchester United line-up to play Club Brugge: Schweinsteiger and Herrera to start

Taking a closer look at Manchester United's upcoming Champions League qualifier.

Manchester United take on Club Brugge on Tuesday in a vital Champions League qualifier, with manager Louis van Gaal knowing his side are just two games away from returning to the prestigious group stage of Europe’s premier competition.

United have a 100 per cent record in the league this season, having beaten Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa 1-0 in recent times, but the upcoming tie is absolutely huge for the club and for van Gaal in particular, who will be desperate not to go two seasons without Champions League football at Old Trafford.

United will surely play a strong side against Brugge, knowing that a healthy first leg lead will be a huge boost, but there are likely to be a few changes from the recent league games to keep everyone fresh.

Summer signing Bastian Schweinsteiger will almost certainly start for the first time while the likes of Antonio Valencia and Ander Herrera will also be hoping for a chance from kick-off.

Below is the United side we predict will start against the Belgian club on Tuesday:
