The 35-year-old is one of the more important players in the current Gers squad and was superb for the team this afternoon.
The former Celtic star scored twice in Rangers’ 5-1 victory over Alloa Athletic away from home at the Indodrill Stadium, finding the target before the half-time interval and in the 85th minute.
Warburton was impressed with the performance of Miller and spoke highly of him after the match.
“Kenny has impressed me from the outset, in terms of how he has applied himself in training and he is a senior figure and he has a wealth of experience,” the Englishman told Rangers’ official website.
“He has been outstanding and I am delighted for him today, he has got four goals now and I am sure and have no doubt in my mind that Kenny has a huge role to play this season."
Rangers made it two wins out of two in the Scottish Championship with the victory over Alloa away from home today.
The Glasgow outfit started their 2015-16 Scottish Championship campaign with a 3-1 triumph over St. Mirren at Inbox earlier this month.
The Gers are aiming to win the league title and gain automatic promotion to the Scottish Premiership, and Miller will play a key role in their attempt.
