Italian press claim Adnan Januzaj has asked for Manchester United exit, Pogba reunion possible

Adnan Januzaj (low qual)

The Belgian is believed to want an exit from Manchester United in the coming weeks.

Reports in Italy today are claiming that Manchester United attacker Adnan Januzaj is keen on a move away from the club, with Juventus his preferred destination.

The Italian source Tutto Mercato Web is claiming that Januzaj has decided he wants to leave Manchester United this month and Juventus are hopeful of signing the player.

They also claim that Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are keen and Januzaj simply wants out of the Premier League club in the next fortnight.

Januzaj is also a close friend of Paul Pogba from their time together at United and that could play some part in any move to Turin.

Why now?

It seems odd timing.

The Belgian youngster was recently handed a rare start by Louis van Gaal for Manchester United. He went on to score the winning goal against Aston Villa on Friday night.

However, after the game, LvG seemed to criticise the player’s performance against Villa despite supplying the winning touches.

It would seem that, if this report proves correct, Januzaj has decided enough is enough and he wants to leave the club in order to play more regular first-team football.

It could be that United have another Pogba on their hands.
