Confirmed: Crystal Palace and Arsenal line-ups

Here is how Crystal Palace and Arsenal will line up for this afternoon’s match:

Crystal Palace welcome Arsenal to Selhurst Park this afternoon for both sides’ second match of the new season.

Palace started the new campaign with a 3-1 win away to Norwich City last weekend while Arsenal suffered a shock 2-0 defeat at home to West Ham United.

Gunners manager Arsene Wenger will not want to lose back-to-back matches but a game against Palace these days is no easy proposition and the Eagles’ boss Alan Pardew will know what a win against the North London club would do for his team’s confidence.

That said, Arsenal have not lost any of their last 12 visits to Selhurst Park and Palace are without a win in their last 11 games in all competitions against today’s opponents.

Palace are currently sixth in the league while Arsenal are second from bottom; a situation they will want to quickly rectify if possible although the Eagles will have other ideas.
