There were a few themes developing among West Brom fans after their side's 0-0 draw with Watford on Saturday afternoon. One was a lingering discontent with Tony Pulis's negativity.
In the boss's defence, he did play two up top against Manchester City. But perhaps he should have reserved the bus parking for that game and gone for it here at Watford.
West Brom did have a big chance to win the game nevertheless - but it was wasted from close range despite falling to one of the Baggies' most trusted forwards in Saido Berahino. The miss proved costly and, at a time when the youngster's West Brom future could be in doubt, supporters were far from forgiving on Twitter after the game.
The one positive at Watford? Supporters did appear to be impressed with club-record signing Salomon Rondon, who came on for his debut at Vicarage Road. That might bode well for the West Brom faithful if Berahino does indeed end up leaving the Hawthorns this summer...
Here's how supporters reacted to Berahino's miss and Rondon's performance, during what was ultimately a disappointing result for the visitors against Watford:
As for Berahino. A top class striker would have 2 in 2. Even if we have played poor, he needs to take those chances. £20m #WBA— Paul Green (@Paul_G_87) August 15, 2015
Berahino there showing inexperience. You don't get that sort of time in the Prem. #WBA— Dave Worley (@daveworley) August 15, 2015
Disappointing result at watford. But. It's clear TP isn't happy with this side & we'll be buying some more players. Rondon looked good #WBA— Lee Irving (@Leeirv90) August 15, 2015
One positive was Rondon, who has pace and looks like he might add an idea or two to the attack. #WBA— Dave Worley (@daveworley) August 15, 2015
