Tottenham transfer news: N'Jie twist, Levy readies £15m Berahino bid, Eriksen going nowhere

A select round-up of the latest news relating to Tottenham Hotspur

According to a report from the Telegraph Tottenham Hotspur are reading a £15million bid for West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino now they have sold Roberto Soldado.

The Spaniard has agreed a switch back to La Liga with Villarreal and that means Spurs chairman Daniel Levy will now push ahead with a move for the England under-21 international.

The report claims there is a feeling at Tottenham that they can get Berahino for around £20million but that negotiations will be kicked off with a lower initial bid.

In other news, the Daily Mail claims that Levy will resist all offers for Danish international Christian Eriksen.

The young play-maker has been linked with a move to Italian side Juventus but Tottenham are said to have no intention of selling and will issue a hands-off warning to any and all suitors.

And finally, French newspaper L’Equipe claims Arsenal have joined the race to sign Tottenham target Clinton N’Jie.

The young forward has been tipped to move to White Hart Lane this summer but now claims in France suggest Arsenal have made their move, and while no bid has yet been forthcoming initial talks have begun.
