Arsenal were training on Saturday ahead of the visit to London rivals Crystal Palace on Sunday afternoon.
The Gunners will be looking to bounce back from last weekend’s defeat to West Ham United at the Emirates Stadium.
The North London outfit’s opening game of the 2015-16 Premier League campaign ended in a 2-0 defeat, and Arsene Wenger’s team will be determined to pick up all three points against Palace at Selhurst Park on Sunday.
Among the Arsenal players training on Saturday was Joel Campbell, who is pretty much a peripheral figure at the moment (see photos above and below).
The Costa Rica international forward has been on the books of Arsenal since 2011, but he has been out on loan spells for most of the past four seasons.
Campbell started the 2014-15 campaign as part of the Gunners’ first team, but he could make just four appearances in the Premier League before being sent out on loan to Spanish outfit Villarreal.
The 23-year-old is part of Arsenal’s first team at the moment, and he will be hoping to at least be part of the 18-man squad for Sunday’s match.
Another Arsenal player who will be hoping to get some minutes on Sunday is defender Hector Bellerin.
The 20-year-old Spain Under-21 international right-back is back in training and is available for the match against Palace (see photo in the middle)
