Midfielder Cabaye is expected to line up for Crystal Palace against London rivals Arsenal at Selhurst Park in the Premier League.
“Cabaye has already been on the scoresheet — in last week’s 3-1 win at Norwich — and I am sure he will cause Arsenal problems,” former Liverpool defender Carragher wrote in The Daily Mail.
“Arsenal failed to deal with another new boy last week in Dimitri Payet of West Ham and if the same happens in south London it will be a really difficult day for Arsene Wenger’s men.”
Cabaye has made a positive return to the Premier League, scoring on his competitive debut for Palace last weekend.
The France international midfielder was on target in the Eagles’ 3-1 victory over newly-promoted Norwich City away from home at Carrow Road.
The former Paris Saint-Germain and Newcastle United man had an overall good game as well, creating one chance and having a pass accuracy of 88%.
Arsenal will pose a much tougher test than Norwich, of course, but playing at home will give Palace an advantage.
The Gunners will also be under pressure to pick up all three points at Selhurst Park, having suffered a 2-0 defeat to West Ham United at the Emirates Stadium last weekend.
