Ian Holloway says Leeds United impressed him last weekend.
Manager turned pundit Ian Holloway has admitted Leeds United look a better side than he thought, speaking to SkySports.
Last weekend he described them as being a 'car wreck the previous season, telling SkySports he expected Burnley to beat them at Elland Road.
That proved not to be the case, with the Lancashire side needing an equaliser in the 86th minute to scrape a draw.
Uwe Rosler's side clearly did something to impress Holloway, for he has tipped them for a win this weekend, predicting them to record a 2-1 victory away to Reading.
He told SkySports: "Leeds surprised me last week. They played really well against Burnley, looked really bright and scored a wonderful goal through Mirco Antenucci. The talent throughout the league is getting better all the time.
"I’ve got a funny feeling this could be another draw for Leeds but I've plumped for an away win."
Somewhat hedging his bets at least there, an away win would be a repeat of last season's result at the Madejski Stadium, where Leeds United beat Reading 2-0.
Reading lost their opening game of the season 2-1 to Birmingham City last week and will be desperate to get points on the board.
They did at least record a win in the Capital One Cup in midweek against Colchester United, while Leeds lost an energy sapping game on Thursday night to Doncaster Rovers on penalties, which they played the majority with only 10 men due to a first half Lewis Cook red card.
