Christian Eriksen's agent says player is happy at Tottenham amid Juventus rumours but admits not knowing what will happen

The Dane has been linked with Juventus over the past few days.

This week has seen Tottenham Hotspur star Christian Eriksen linked heavily with a move to Italian giants Juventus.

It was reported in Italy recently that Juve have moved on to the Dane after missing out on several other options.

The Daily Mail then reported yesterday that Tottenham had no intention to sell the player, although Eriksen was considering the possibility of the move.

Well his agent has already stepped in on the action.

Martin Schoots is quoted by Tips Bladet as stating:

“Out of principle I never speak about specific clubs. But we know that very big clubs were after Christian since he was 14-years-old.

“Christian is now happy to be in the Spurs, but you never know what happens tomorrow.”

Of course, while he does state at the end of his comments that ‘you never know’ this is quite a common tactic used by agents, just in case their clients do leave.

Tottenham should not be too worried about that.

Tutto Mercato Web reported that Italian paper Quotidiano Sportivo was yesterday leading with a headline suggesting that Juventus are keen on signing Eriksen from Tottenham.

The claim is that Juventus chief Beppe Marotta is ready to launch an €18 million bid for the player this summer, which equates to a fee in the region of £13 million.

It appears that Eriksen is happy at Tottenham for the time being but his agent's comments also suggest he could still have his head turned by the right offer.
