Scott Allan has left Scottish Championship side Hibernian for Scottish Premiership champions Celtic.

Celtic fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the signing of Scott Allan from Hibernian.

The Scottish Premiership champions have recruited the midfielder on a four-year contract from Scottish Championship side Hibernian, as announced on the club's official website.

The 23-year-old was superb for Hibs in the second tier of Scottish football last season and almost guided them to the Premiership.

The former Dundee United and West Bromwich Albion man established himself one of the best midfielders in Scotland outside the top flight.

Allan will now be looking to make himself a regular in the Celtic first team and help them win the league title for the fifth season in a row.

The former Scotland Under-21 international will also be aiming to make sure that Ronny Deila’s side qualify for the group stage of the Champions League this campaign.

Following the signing of Allan, Celtic fans took to Twitter to have their say.
