Celtic have returned to winning ways in the Scottish Premiership this afternoon with a comfortable 4-2 victory over Inverness Caledonian Thistle at home.
The Bhoys headed into the game at Celtic Park on the back of a 2-2 draw with Kilmarnock away from home, but they did not slip up this time.
Mikael Lustig put Ronny Deila’s side in the lead as early as the eighth minute, when he headed home Stefan Johansen’s delivery from close range.
Leigh Griffiths doubled Celtic’s advantage just four minutes later, nodding in a Nir Bitton delivery from inside the Inverness penalty box.
Stuart Armstrong made it 3-0 to the home team 10 minutes into the second half when he fired home from close range after latching onto a pass from Griffiths.
Armstrong added his second midway through the second half, but Celtic then had a scare.
Inverness scored twice in quick succession through Ryan Christie and Dani Lopez, but the Bhoys eventually picked up the three points.
