Alex McCarthy sends message on Twitter ahead of Arsenal clash

Crystal Palace will take on Arsenal at home in the Premier League on Sunday.

Crystal Palace goalkeeper Alex McCarthy has taken to social networking site Twitter to look ahead to his side’s clash against Arsenal this weekend.

Palace will take on their London rivals at Selhurst Park on Sunday looking to make it back-to-back wins in the Premier League.

Alan Pardew’s side defeated Norwich City 3-1 away from home at Carrow Road last weekend.

The Eagles will find it tougher against Arsenal at home on Saturday, but McCarthy, who joined from Championship club Queens Park Rangers last month, seems confident.

Arsenal will be many Premier League observers’ favourites to win against Palace on Sunday, despite being the away team and losing at home on the opening weekend of the season.

The Gunners suffered a surprise 2-0 defeat to London rivals West Ham United at the Emirates Stadium last weekend.

Arsene Wenger’s side will be determined to get back to winning ways and kickstarting their Premier League title challenge.
