Tottenham Hotspur media round-up: Report suggests Pochettino's plans for Spurs attack

A round up of news stories this morning related to Tottenham Hotspur.

The Daily Mail claims that Mauricio Pochettino only wants to have two strikers in his squad for the coming season.

The paper claims Spurs are working hard to add another frontman to their squad, to come in and support Harry Kane.

The report suggests that Pochettino is going to pin his hopes around Kane being the main centre forward at the club for the rest of the season.

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has been quoted by ESPN

explaining that he finds it difficult to suggest why Roberto Soldado has struggled at the club.

Soldado could still leave the club in the current transfer window, which would end a frustrating spell at White Hart Lane.

However, Soldado retains his popularity with fans because of the way he works his socks off in every game he plays.

“Sometimes there are a lot of reasons that are difficult to explain. I think it wasn't easy for him to adapt his game in England at Tottenham,” he said.

The Guardian is among the sources to confirm that Tottenham duo Dominic Ball and Nathan Oduwa have both joined Rangers.

The pair of young Tottenham midfielders have agreed season long loans with the Scottish giants for the rest of the season.

It will be vital experience for them at a club where they will be subjected to an intense level of pressure.
