Rangers, Spurs fans react on Twitter as Ball and Oduwa complete Ibrox loan moves

Rangers have snapped up Spurs duo Dominic Ball and Nathan Oduwa.

As confirmed above, Rangers have completed the signing of Tottenham Hotspur duo Dominic Ball and Nathan Oduwa on season-long loan deals.

Ball, 20, is predominantly a centre back who spent time on loan at Cambridge United last season, whilst 19-year-old winger Oduwa had a spell with Luton Town last term.

Both players have now joined Mark Warburton, who has once again proven his strong links with Tottenham having helped develop Alex Pritchard at Brentford last season.

Ball and Oduwa join Wes Foderingham, James Tavernier, Rob Kiernan, Danny Wilson, Andy Halliday, Jason Holt and Martyn Waghorn in moving to Ibrox this summer, with Warburton certainly proving to be active in the transfer market.

The expectation is that Ball will offer cover defensively whilst Oduwa is likely to play a key role in the Rangers first team, giving Warburton's men pace down the right hand side.

Both sets of fans have been reacting to the deal on Twitter since as early as Wednesday, when reports broke that a deal for the duo was in the pipeline.

Spurs fans believe that Rangers have got a great deal, particularly with Oduwa, who they predict will enjoy plenty of success in the Scottish Championship - with some even suggesting they'd rather keep him and play him in the first team.

Rangers fans are largely excited to see their new signings play, though there is some confusion over whether Warburton really needed to bring in another centre back having already signed two this summer.
