People News: BNP Paribas, Gottex

exit

Siobhan Roche, head of emerging-market sales at BNP Paribas in New York, left the bank at the end of July, Cesaltine Gregorio.

'BNP Paribas remains deeply committed to its platform and its clients in North America', the bank said in an e-mailed statement Wednesday. 'The recent changes concerning only a limited number of personnel result from a desire to ensure that we remain efficient and aligned with our clients’ needs in the current environment'.

In the meantime, Reuters reports that Gottex Fund Management Holdings said on Thursday its chief financial officer Timothy Roniger will leave in November and the fund of hedge funds firm is looking for his successor.

The announcement follows Joachim Gottschalk, founder of Gottex, resigning as chief executive officer and an executive director last month.
