A look at how Manchester United fans reacted to the latest developments in the David de Gea transfer saga.

David de Gea's Manchester United career looks increasingly bleak.

The BBC is reporting the goalkeeper told club staff he was not keen to play for the Red Devils.

He was sat in the stands as United beat Tottenham at Old Trafford last week, and is not thought to have travelled with the squad for tonight's Premier League visit to Aston Villa.

As reported by The BBC, De Gea remains a transfer target for La Liga side Real Madrid, and is unsettled by their interest.

He played just one game in pre-season, which resulted in a loss to French champions Paris Saint-Germain.

United got on well without him last week, winning 1-0 over Tottenham in the league opener, but the Spanish international was a key performer last season.

He contributed to a number of narrow victories with outstanding performances in goal, and if United cave and sell him then they will be expected to sign another goalkeeper despite already adding Sergio Romero.

He has only one year remaining on his contract however, putting the club on notice that he can leave on a free transfer next summer.
