The 24-year-old has been speaking to reporters ahead of Celtic's clash with Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
James Forrest isn't worried about the competition for places at Celtic as he is confident boss Ronny Deila will give everyone an equal chance in the final third.
Indeed, Forrest was not a first-team regular with the Bhoys last season but is happy that he and his team-mates will all get plenty of opportunities considering the amount of games the Scottish champions currently face as part of a packed schedule.
JF on competition for places: Since we’ve come back from pre-season we’ve had a game every three days.

Meanwhile, the 24-year-old is also pleased with his form over the last six or seven months and is keen to maintain it.
Forrest has simply been eager for the chance to impress both in games and during training and, as he has stated, the Celtic boss has given him plenty in recent times.
JF on recent form: The last six or seven months have been much better for me and I just want to keep going like that. (MD)

JF: You just need to get on with it and show what you can do in training and games when you get a chance.

The Hoops face Inverness Caledonian Thistle in their next Scottish Premiership clash on Saturday afternoon.
Celtic have enjoyed success against Inverness recently but the memory of their controversial Scottish Cup semi-final defeat to Calley last term - that ended their Scottish treble dreams - will no doubt still be fresh, pushing Deila's side to bounce back from another disappointment following the 2-2 draw at Kilmarnock earlier this week.
