The England international seems pleased with Spurs’ transfer activity so far this summer, underlining how his Argentine boss has been building a team in his own image.
“This transfer window was really the first time the gaffer kind of put his own stamp on what he wanted to do,” Kane told The Telegraph.
“He got rid of who he no longer wanted and brought in who he wanted. It’s exciting.”
Busy summer for Tottenham Hotspur
Tottenham have been quite active in the summer transfer window, with Pochettino clearly showing that he means business this season.
The likes of Paulinho, Lewis Holtby, Etienne Capoue, Younes Kaboul, Benjamin Stambouli and Roberto Soldado have all left White Hart Lane, while defenders Kevin Wimmer, Kieran Trippier and Toby Alderweireld have been recruited.
The North London outfit need to sign at least one striker before the summer transfer window slams shut next month.
Spurs are aiming for a top-four finish in the Premier League this season, and it seems that Pochettino only wants the players whom he can trust and who he thinks will play an important role in that objective.
