Crystal Palace striker Dwight Gayle is the subject of interest from Fulham and Queens Park Rangers after Bristol City agreed a fee for the striker, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Bristol City had a bid in the region of £6 million accepted by Palace earlier this week for Gayle as Steve Cotterill looks to bolster his attacking options at Ashton Gate.
However, the player is stalling on the move to Bristol City as he holds out to see what other options come his way.
Fulham and QPR have now entered the race for Gayle and have registered their interest to Palace as the race for the in-demand striker hots up.
Fulham are looking to build a side capable of challenging for promotion this season after a disappointing campaign last term and they need striking reinforcements following the departure of Hugo Rodallega earlier this summer.
QPR are considering a move for Gayle should they lose last season's top scorer Charlie Austin before the close of the transfer window.
