He said: “On Praet I have no certainty until September 1st. If there is a club that wants to give the money that Anderlecht want, and Dennis is also satisfied with it, then he can move. But that is not the case [right now].”
Hasi is certainly not ruling out Praet leaving Belgium this summer, with only financial demands preventing a move already going through.
HLN reported on interest from both West Brom and Villa earlier this week, but claimed that a deal was far from being completed.
It it stated that West Brom were wiling to match the asking price placed on the 21-year-old’s head, but after watching the Baggies 3-0 defeat to Manchester City, Praet decided he did not want to move to the Hawthorns.
Villa have not yet made an offer to Anderlecht concerning the transfer of Praet, but they are definitely interested in the playmaker, and if his asking price lowers they could make a formal approach.
Hasi has admitted that Praet will leave the club this summer if a suitable offer is made, and both sides should really be going all out to sign the midfielder whilst he is available.
