Trevor Sinclair predicts limitations for both West Ham and QPR on Twitter

QPR Mascot And Fans

The former West Ham and Queens Park Rangers midfielder sees certain targets as beyond both clubs' reach.

BBC pundit and former West Ham United and QPR midfielder Trevor Sinclair feels there will be limitations to both of his ex-sides' success this season.

Indeed, while by no means predicting a bad campaign for both, Sinclair gave an 'honest answer' when asked about West Ham qualifying for Europe and QPR achieving promotion back to the Premier League on Twitter.

The Hammers started their league season wonderfully, beating Arsenal 2-0 at the Emirates Stadium, although the R's lost by the same scoreline at Charlton Athletic.

Irrespective of those results, Sinclair sees Europe as a step too far for West Ham and promotion out of QPR's reach.

He was also asked about another of his former sides, Manchester City, winning the title - to which he provided the same reply.

West Ham face Leicester City in their next Premier League fixture this weekend, when Slaven Bilic will be looking for his side to carry on where they left off at Arsenal.

QPR, meanwhile, face Cardiff City next in the Championship and were boosted by a 3-0 win over Yeovil Town in the Capital One Cup on Tuesday night.
