The midfielder has had a falling out with Slaven Bilic and the Hammers are seemingly keen on a sale.
The 30-year-old midfielder is currently surplus to requirements at Upton Park, with it recently being reported that he has had a falling out with new manager Slaven Bilic.
That bust up with Bilic has reportedly led to him being banished from the club’s training ground, Chadwell Heath HQ, and he is now training with the Under-21 squad instead.
The situation is obviously not favourable to the player or the club, and they are now willing to listen to offer for his services according to the Mirror, with St Etienne and several other clubs reportedly interested in him.
With an exit from the Hammers looking increasingly likely, there could be Premier League interest in Amalfitano.
The midfielder has proven he has the quality should he be willing to commit himself, with him having impressed in brief stints at both West Ham and West Brom.
There does appear to be an attitude problem however, with him also having fallen out with Sam Allardyce in the past. That is likely to put off potential suitors, and despite Bilic being keen on a sale, that might prove to be difficult to achieve.
