To be played on Sunday 16th August 2015 at 16:00. Venue: Etihad Stadium, Manchester
Odds: Man City 15/13, Draw 5/2, Chelsea 14/5
Manchester City will be looking to take a good firm grip of the Premier League this weekend in their game against Chelsea.
City looked to be in very good form in all areas during the game against West Brom earlier this week, in a match they could easily have won by more than the 3-0 margin.
Manuel Pellegrini is likely to stress a message of patience, urging his side to show no mercy against the champions if they can get themselves in front during the game, which will give them something to protect.
Chelsea will be looking for an improved performance to what the side produced in the opening game of their Premier League title defence against Swansea.
Jose Mourinho knows that his team have to be on top of their game this weekend against Manchester City, because it will be difficult for them to avoid defeat and concede further ground in the title race.
Chelsea have some good players all over the pitch who can win this game for the Blues but they need to be defensively solid throughout.
