The West Ham duo trained with Slaven Bilic's first team on Thursday afternoon.
The midfielder, brought in from Sampdoria this summer, had trained with the Hammers during pre-season and also took part in friendlies.
But injury has prevented Obiang from making a first-team impact at West Ham for some weeks now. Well, until this week it appears. Boss Bilic had given a positive update on the 23-year-old recently and here he was in training ahead of this weekend's Premier League clash against Leicester City.
And, on the theme of forgotten West Ham first-teamers, winger Matt Jarvis was also pictured in training on Thursday ahead of the Foxes encounter, which will take part at Upton Park for Bilic's first ever home Premier League game.
Meanwhile, given the current excitement generated by 16-year-old Reece Oxford after his superb display up against Mesut Ozil at the Emirates Stadium, it wouldn't be fair to ignore the midfielder's presence in West Ham training.
The teenager was also pictured looking fresh and relaxed. How many more impressive performances can he rack up in the coming weeks?
